Bronze Star to EOD NCO

Senior Master Sgt. Ryan D. Nichols, an Explosive Ordinace Disposal superintendent. withh the 932nd Civil Engineering Squadron, was awarded the Bronze Star, Air Force Combat Action Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his exceptional service while deployed to Afghanistan. Maj. Gen. Eric W. Crabtree, commander of 4th Air Force, presented the medals to Sergeant Nichols during ceremonies at the base theateer. The 932nd Airlift Wing's Rising 6 organization held its annual bowling tournament, and for the second year in a row, it sold out. This trick shot was peformed with ease by Denny Ernsting. 932nd Airlift Wing Master Sgt. Anthony Loving is a musician who also builds his own instruments. His favorite is the electric guitar. "I like them jangly and loud," he said. Sergeant Loving has played in bands since high school. He can play guitar, bass and the mandolin. In fact, Sergeant Loving played the mandolin at age 12.
