SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Congresswoman Mary Miller and her staff recently visited the 932nd Airlift Wing at Scott AFB, Illinois on Aug. 12. Miller was provided a mission update brief, followed by an informal office call with Col. Jeffrey Smith, 932nd AW commander.
Miller represents the 15th District of Illinois in the U.S. House of Representatives, serving on the House Committee on Agriculture and serves as the Vice Chair of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce.
During Miller’s visit, she was educated on hot topics such as recruiting and retention, medical care, and quality of life initiatives across the Air Force Reserve, reinforcing the importance of the Air Force Reserve’s current and future role in the Great Power Competition and global security.
The commitment, professionalism, and personal connection with the Gateway Wing leadership team left a lasting impression on Congresswoman Miller and her staff, reinforcing the significance of the 932nd mission.
