Command Chief Welch thanks band director

Community thank you in action: The 932nd Airlift Wing made a visit to Belleville West High School on Feb. 8, 2018, to thank the "Maroon" marching band for attending and playing songs "live" at a recent deployer's send off event. Here, the highest ranking enlisted member, 932nd Command Chief Master Sgt. Chad Welch, presented a recycled special C-40 aircraft window to Belleville West band directors, Scott Wilson (seen here) and Michael Pond-Jones (not pictured). It was engraved with a "token of appreciation" message for the volunteer work the band did while performing at Scott Air Force Base. (U.S. Air Force photo by Lt. Col. Stan Paregien)
