CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT CHRISTIAN C. BIANCUR

Chief Master Sergeant Christian C. Biancur is the Squadron Superintendent, 932nd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, 932nd Airlift Wing, Scott Air Force Base, IL. The mission of the 932nd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron is to provide Aeromedical Evacuation Technicians, Flight Nurses and support personnel in supporting worldwide Aeromedical Evacuation. CMSgt Biancur provides leadership and management in organizing, training and equipping over 100 Aeromedical Evacuation aircrew members and support personnel. He is the principle advisor to the commander, operations officer, chief nurse, and supervisors on the professional development and utilization of enlisted personnel. As the Senior Enlisted ART, CMSgt Biancur manages day-to-day operations of the unit to include manning, training, evaluation, resources allocation, readiness reporting, deployment management, and integrating the mission of ARC personnel with their active duty counterparts. Members of the 932nd AES are engaged in support of aeromedical evacuation services for all US military branches in times of peace, war, and civilians in times of national disaster and emergency within the United States and abroad.

Chief Master Sergeant Biancur originally enlisted in the United States Air Force in November 1991. Upon completion of Basic Training he graduated at the rank of Airman First Class. After completion of Aerospace Medical Service Technician Apprentice School he was assigned to the 4th Aeromedical Staging facility, Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB TX June 1992. CMSgt Biancur was accepted to the special duty of Aeromedical Evacuation Technician upon the completion of training he was assigned to the 375th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, 375th Airlift Wing Scott AFB, IL. Upon completion of his active duty commitment CMSgt Biancur joined the United States Air Force Reserves, 932nd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, 932nd Airlift Wing, Scott AFB, IL. During his assignment he became qualified as an Aeromedical Technician Flight Instructor. CMSgt Biancur then completed his reserve commitment and was honorably discharged from the Air Force Reserves December 2000. During his civilian time off from the Air Force Reserves CMSgt Biancur was the Owning Operator and CEO of a successful business in the service industry for over 10 years. CMSgt Biancur then returned the United States Air Force Reserves to the 932nd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron in April 2009 were he retrained and requalified to his to his previous position of Aeromedical Evacuation Technician Instructor and eventually certified as flight examiner.

CMSgt Biancur has over 1900 flight hours in numerous aircraft as well as currently holds the rating of instructor and certification of flight examiner for the universal qualification of the Aeromedical Evacuation Technician. He has participated in numerous emergency responses, national disasters and humanitarian airlifts during his career. He has deployed multiple times for Operations Allied Force, Enduring Freedom, Inherent Resolve, Freedom Sentinel and Resolute Support. CMSgt Biancur has also been selected by Air Force Reserves Command for leading, planning and directing numerous Joint Force Exercises to include Global Medic and Patriot Warrior the command’s largest exercises.
