Deployer send off also thanks USO volunteers

Commander of the 932nd Airlift Wing, Col. Raymond Smith, and the top enlisted leader, Command Chief, Chief Master Sgt. Chad Welch, stopped by to share a cup of coffee and thank USO volunteers Sue Sullivan (blue shirt) and Phyllis DeLeal (white shirt). The duo visited Lambert International Airport and the James S. McDonnell USO nonprofit organization on Jan. 25, 2018, where they also said farewell to several deployers earlier that morning. The USO strengthens America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation. They provide resting and refreshment areas in many airports for military members who are traveling. They have also come out to the 932nd Airlift Wing for many blood drives, picnics, and special events. (U.S. Air Force photo by Lt. Col. Stan Paregien)
