Operations Group mission accomplished
A 932nd Airlift Wing flight crew hit the water to swim across the pool and get one hundred percent of the team up the boarding station and into the life raft. The 932nd Operations Group sent pilots and aeromedical evacuation personnel across base to be trained in the rain during their last Unit Training Assembly weekend at the base pool, satisfying all required water survival skills. After making it into the raft, they checked supplies and put up an overhead tent for protection from the elements. The program simulated a plane crash landing in a remote water location and the crew must then take care of each other using first aid skills along with enduring cold water, swimming, surviving and building shelter with the limited tools provided.
