Watchful eye from above

Watching you, watching me, watching the wing at work? The 932nd Airlift Wing was watched over January 3, 2016, by an extra set of eyes, as the unit reopened after the New Years federal holiday. This North American opossum decided to climb the tree next to the 932nd flag pole, very near the sidewalk to the headquarters building. Once up there, he couldn't quite seem to decide how to come back down, much like a cat stuck in a tree. Some people walking past thought he was dead, but he was only pretending, and moved his head slightly when spoken to. An animal specialist was dispatched and carefully moved the frightened fellow to a safer location near the lake and woods, to roam freely again. (U.S. Air Force photo by Lt. Col. Stan Paregien)

Wing helps unit members during holidays

The holidays can be a tough time of the year for some unit members who may be separated from their friends and family by long distances or special situations. For several years now, members of the 932nd Airlift Wing have raised money and donated food and toy items to the 932nd Airman and Family Readiness office, which are then redistributed to those wing members most in need during this end of year holiday timeframe. Sharing the veteran's story

The 932nd Airlift Wing's commander thanks other former service members while telling the veteran's story to the public. Before taking the podium to recognize Veterans Day while speaking at Highland Junior High School recently, the commander of the 932nd Airlift Wing, Col. Professional development plans the future

The 932nd Airlift Wing force development working group, under 22nd Air Force, and the Air Force Reserve Command, held a professional development planning session on November 15, 2016. Two teams with enlisted leaders from public affairs, history, executive office, education, and other wing areas met to discuss first term Airman's programs of development and strategic plan for the upcoming calendar year in 2017. Various courses will be offered in the new year that are designed to promote personal and professional growth for Air Force Reserve Command members at the Scott Air Force Base unit. Tech. Sgt.
