Stepping out for aeromedical training improves Citizen Airmen skills
Member of the 932nd Airlift Wing's Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron walk to the stairs of a visiting KC-46 aircraft to get training January 14, 2021, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. They received crew briefs from aircrew members and had a chance to see how the plane interior and equipment differs from other aircraft they have flown on. Master Sgt. Anisa Thomas, 932nd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron said, "as ground personnel we're learning about how we can enter and assist with loading our equipment and work better with crews." The reserve Citizen Airmen familiarized themselves on the KC-46 Pegasus, as the training helped strengthen and enhance their patient care skills.
