Master Sgt. Anisa Thomas, 932nd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron health service manager, was given an overview of the cockpit of a visiting KC-46 on January 14, 2020, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. "As ground personnel we're learning about how we can enter and assist with loading our equipment, and work better with crews," said Thomas. The reserve Citizen Airmen familiarized themselves with one of the Air Force’s newest aircraft, the KC-46 Pegasus. The training instructed aeromedical members to strengthen and enhance their patient care skills and apply them while operating inside the KC-46. During this training they had a chance to ask questions, see equipment working, and learn directly from a flight crew with the 157th Air Refueling Wing from Pease Air National ,Guard Base, N.H.
