Welcome to the wing! Maxwell Helgeson, at center, enlisted into the Air Force Reserve's explosive ordnance disposal career field with the 932nd Airlift Wing on October 23, 2019, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. "I've been a Deputy Sheriff with Peoria County and always wanted to do a special operations-type job, and do something special with the military. My job as a deputy provides a background of dignity, discipline, hands on training with firearms, and public safety," said Helgesson. His enlistment was performed by Lt. Col.
