A special day means special visitors return as wing alumni
The 932nd Airlift Wing was buzzing with activity as a promotion ceremony, various meetings, an assumption of command, and retirements took place recently. There was a "blast from the past" in Illinois during the March Unit Training Assembly, as these retired former 932nd Maintenance Group crew chiefs came back one more time for a special event March 4, 2019, at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. The occasion was the retirement of Master Sgt. Kenna Collier. The gentlemen returning from past wing history were from left, Bill Treakle, Gary Heuring, Dan Asher and Mark Spicer. Also on hand to speak to the crowd was the former commander of the 932nd Maintenance Group, Col. Sharon Johnson. (U.S. Air Force photo by Lt. Col. Stan Paregien)
