Member shares appreciation for fellow veterans in Illinois
As part of a community outreach project, Master Sgt. Christopher Parr, noncommissioned officer in charge (NCOIC) at the 932nd Airlift Wing's Public Affairs Office, speaks about his vast military experience to Highland Junior High School students November 9, 2018. He was joined by a 73rd Airlift Squadron pilot, Lt. Col. Brandon Lorton, regarding the C-40 flying mission of the 932nd Airlift Wing, patriotism, and remembering veterans. The public affairs officer, Lt. Col. Stan Paregien, set up a 932nd AW display booth and answered questions about the Air Force Reserve. They handed out some military gear for students to pass around, along with an American flag, and answered student's questions about what it takes to become a pilot and American Airman during an all day event culminating with a final school assembly with local veterans from the community.
