Heading out to the wild blue yonder...basic training

It's important to help brand new "awaiting further orders" Airmen, those who haven't gone off to basic training yet, but who still need to understand their future challenges and paperwork. At center, Staff Sgt. Kaitlyn Kennedy, 932nd Development and Training Flight Coordinator, has helped counsel these four new trainees during recent 932nd Unit Training Assembly (UTA) weekends at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. The big day finally came as these Airmen shipped off to basic training July 31, 2018. For others interested in joining the 932nd Airlift Wing, the toll free number is: 1-800-257-1212, for more overall eligibility information. The Get One Now program is also online at: www.Get1Now.US for additional background regarding current members helping new people join. (U.S. Air Force photo by Lt. Col. Stan Paregien)
