Team work in action at 30,000 feet
The 932nd Airlift Wing’s Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron flew aboard a packed and busy medical practice training flight on July 22, 2018. They flew aboard a C-130 aircraft, provided by the 910th Airlift Wing. After taking off from Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, 1st Lt. Liz Erdman, 932nd AES flight nurse, and Senior Master Sgt. Tonya Hupp, AES superintendent, listen to a "simulated patient" describing his injuries. Together, the Airmen aboard reviewed Air Force Instructions covering medical issues. The aeromedical training featured interaction and communication between medical personnel and loadmasters taking care of equipment aboard the plane. (U.S. Air Force photos by Lt. Col. Stan Paregien)
