Honorary commanders learn from military leaders

Honorary commanders are matched up to various group commanders at the wing. They serve that role throughout the year representing various communities around the Scott Air Force Base area. Several came out to interact with base and 932nd Airlift Wing leadership on Nov. 29, 2017. Pictured at far left is the 932nd Mission Support Group Interim Commander, Lt. Col. Wayne Johnson, who helped the visitors with weapons handling and discussions as his MSG honorary commander, Paul Evans, of Evans Law Firm, listens to instructions. At far right, John Marquart, representing the Village of Shiloh, takes aim at a simulated target. The visit included a briefing of base functions and a bus ride to the simulated deployment line with additional presentations. (U.S. Air Force photo by Lt. Col. Stan Paregien)
