Master Sgt. Jennifer Royer, 932nd Force Support Squadron, discusses personnel and safety movement issues with Master Sgt. Mike Burgess, 932nd Airlift Wing Safety Office Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, during the 932nd Airlift Wing "shelter in place" practice event on Oct. 16, 2017, at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Burgess was on hand to observe key exit points from buildings, observe the process management, identify parking lot hazards, implement controls, make evaluations, and make sure the wing and visitors coming into the area observed overall parking lot safety. Burgess and wing inspection team members took the proactive lead, being good wingmen during the 932nd AW's Unit Exercise Inspection's shelter in place event by crosschecking various squadrons in action.
