IGI and Wing Inspections Team work processes to improve unit

932nd Airlift Wing Interim Director of Inspector General-Inspections (IGI) Lt. Col. Julie Novy, talks after actions specifics with Master Sgt. Master Sgt. Thomas Dissette, a member of the 932nd Airlift Wing's Medical Group, 932nd Aeromedical Staging Squadron, teaches a class on taking care of critically ill patients Mar. 6, 2018, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. He works through the steps required to use a piece of equipment called the "Propaq", which controls monitoring his simulated robotic patient, also known as "simulation man" (in background). The Propaq MD offers multiple display modes to operate in bright sunlight or during night missions (NVG-friendly display). The battery system and AC power charger provide worldwide sea, land, and air operating capabilities for this device that Dissette used in the class. Employers will be glad to know that reservists of the 932nd Airlift Wing have a multitude of skills to bring to the workplace. Here, the 932nd Maintenance Group members enjoy learning how to apply a tourniquet as part of a refresher course touching up on first aid skills. Self aid and buddy care classes were held in February and during the March 4, 2018, Unit Training Assembly at the 932nd Airlift Wing, Scott Air Force Base, Ill.
