Commander and Chief welcome employers
At far right, commander of the 932nd 932nd Airlift Wing, Col. Esteban Ramirez and Command Chief Master Sgt. Chad Welch, welcomed employers of 932nd Airlift Wing members to the "Boss Day" event. They presented a special coin to the civic leaders. The bosses received a first-hand look at medical issues and the varied missions of the wing during Boss Day, August 5, 2017. Among other things, they were treated to a security dog demonstration, a trip to the control tower, orientation on robots with civil engineers, fire fighting, as well as lunch on board one of the unit planes. Employers heard briefings from public affairs, the 932nd Airlift Wing top enlisted and officer leadership, safety office representatives, and they learned what the flying mission is about. Bosses also had the opportunity to tour the weather center. When leaving at the end of the day, the civilian bosses said they were thrilled by the mission and the expertise of the men and women of the 932nd Airlift Wing. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt.
