Prepping for the mission

Staff Sgt. Anisa Thomas, from the Health Service Management career field, and currently the 932nd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron Ground Training Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, smiles with Staff Sgt. Deanne Wagner as they prepare to help escort "simulated patients" aboard a waiting C-17 aircraft. The two Airmen came in early to prepare, and made sure the wounded and walking ambulatory members were safely brought aboard, once they were given the all clear on July 29, 2017, at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. The C-17 Globemaster III was provided by the 452nd Air Mobility Wing out of March Air Reserve Base, California. The 452d Air Mobility Wing is an Air Reserve Component of the United States Air Force.
