Friendly visit with 932nd leadership
Tuskegee Airman, retired Lt. Col. Robert (Bob) J. Friend, shares a laugh with Col. Jonathan Philebaum, commander, 932nd Airlift Wing during a leadership professional development seminar May 8, 2017 at the Global Reach Planning Center, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Friend is one of the few surviving Red Tail pilots from WWII. He flew 142 missions in the famous P51 Mustang fighter plane. Friend shared memories as he recalled his time with the Tuskegee Airmen.
