FOD walk proactively maintains safety
932nd Airlift Wing successful C-40C mission launches start days earlier, behind the scenes, as a team of maintenance and operations Airmen search the flight line for FOD (Foreign Object Damage) items at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., March 21, 2017. Time spent on FOD walks protect all aircraft and engines by ensuring debris such as trash and small rocks are removed from the flight line used by visiting planes, the host 375th Air Mobility Wing and 932nd crews.
