Members of the 932nd Airlift Wing's Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron flew a special retirement flag for their former member, Chief Master Sgt. Heather Braundmeier, aboard a KC-135 training flight Dec. 16, 2017. Braundmeier previously served as a 932nd AES administrator, 932nd Airlift Wing flight attendant, and was a 932nd Squadron Aviation Resource Manager before transferring to the Air National Guard where she serves as part of the medical group. The flight featured aircrew support from the 507th Air Refueling Wing out of Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. Aircraft commander, Lt. Col. Mike Louer, Chief of Safety for the 932nd Airlift Wing, engages full throttle as he takes off on a flight Dec. 1, 2017, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. The unit is responsible for maintaining and flying four of the distinguished visitor airlift planes worldwide, sometimes on short notice.
