A visitor stops by

A visiting F-22 "Raptor" fighter jet (far left) taxis to the rear and right of the 932nd Airlift Wing's C-40C plane January 18, 2017, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. The F-22, a critical component of the Global Strike Task Force, is designed to project air dominance, rapidly and at great distances and defeat threats attempting to deny access to the nation's Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps. The F-22 cannot be matched by any known or projected fighter aircraft. Meanwhile, at far right, a 932nd Maintenance Group crew chief stands by to launch the distinguished visitor flying mission aircraft. (U.S. Air Force photo by Lt. Col. Stan Paregien)
