A time to sing and change

Standing before the American flag, Maj. Patricia Robinson, 932nd Medical Group, 932nd Medical Squadron, Critical Care Air Transportation specialist, pays respect to the United States flag, and gets ready to perform the oath of enlistment for Senior Master Sgt. Troy Manz, during his last minutes as an enlisted sergeant. Singing the national anthem at far right is Maj. Rachelle Amado. Manz became a second lieutenant (officer) by going through intensive medical training and raising his right hand, repeating the oath, and joining the Air National Guard in Illinois, not too far away from his 932nd Airlift Wing airmen, but now in a new medical capacity.
