EOD goes the extra mile
The 932nd Airlift Wing's Explosive Ordnance Disposal team members Tech. Sgt. Blake Witte (background) and Staff Sgt. Kody Bloodworth (holding gear), prepare heavy duty string and clips to acquire their possible hazardous "target" and remove a potential explosive hazard, during a training scenario at Scott Air Force Base on August 13, 2016. Airmen of the 932nd Civil Engineering Squadron battled the elements of rain, summer heat, humidity, and thick mud along with various bugs deep in the woods, but they managed their resources and kept squadron camaraderie high. They are part of the 932nd CES, utilized under 22nd Air Force, an Air Force Reserve Command unit. (U.S. Air Force photo by Maj. Stan Paregien)
