Lending a helping hand

A 932nd Airlift Wing aircrew member helps pull his Airman into the raft as 932nd Operations Group pilots and aeromedical evacuation personnel trained in the rain during their last Unit Training Assembly weekend. The event to develop proficiency during stress took place at the base pool to accomplish required water survival skills. The program simulates a plane needing to crash land in a remote water location, and the crew must then take care of each other using first aid skills, along with swimming, surviving and building shelter with the limited tools provided.
