Out and about spotlighting members

Senior Airman Debra Gomez, propulsion apprentice in the 932nd Airlift Wing Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, is interviewed by Tech. Sgt. Christopher Parr from the public affair shop. Gomez's primary role is to help keep engines like this running smooth and flying. She was spotlighted during Women's History Month recently, which started as a national celebration in 1981, when Congress authorized the president to proclaim the week beginning March 7, 1982, as Women's History Week. In 1987, Congress designated the month of March 1987 as Women's History Month. (U.S. Air Force photo by Maj. Stan Paregien)
