Citizen Airman serving side by side
Tech. Sgt. Jessica Adams, a jet fuels mechanic in the 932nd Airlift Wing's Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, stands proud to serve in today's Air Force Reserve. Look at how far rights for women have come, said Adams as she reflects on Women's History Month and her opportunities as a jet fuels mechanic. Not long ago we couldn't vote and now I can be here working side by side on jet engines, said Adams. Female Airmen serve in key enlisted positions, including command chiefs, first sergeants and chaplain assistants. They continuously work to improve the quality of life for Airmen around the Air Force. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Christopher Parr)
