Sherwood said when she first joined the Air Force Reserve Command her friends were a bit shocked by her choice. I was a pageant girl and my friends all aspired to model, so joining the Air Force seemed a strange choice to my friends. said Sherwood. Speaking about what she has learned after joining, she said Being a girly girl and liking to have my nails done and wear make-up doesn't mean you can't be in the Air Force, I have no regrets. Airman Rachel Robert sprays water from the nozzle of he water hose connected to a fire truck behind her, in preparation for her fellow firefighters to enter a smoke-filled building while searching for a simulated patient. She ran this check on the system to ensure proper water pressure and availability of the resource in case it was needed to help put out a fire. Tech. Sgt. Phillip Robbins, is a flight attendant for the 932nd Airlift Wing, flying the blue, white and gold C-40C aircraft at Scott Air Force Base, Ill.. He helps distinguished visitors with loading their heavy luggage ahead of the trip, and spends many hours ahead of each trip to plan each leg of the journey. He additionally prepares meals during the flights.
