Celebrating women of the 932nd Airlift Wing
Tech. Sgt. Dorothy Sherwood, noncommissioned officer in charge of military justice in the judge advocate general's office, shares her decision to join the military in honor of Women's History Month. Sherwood said when she first joined the Air Force Reserve Command her friends were a bit shocked by her choice. I was a pageant girl and my friends all aspired to model, so joining the Air Force seemed a strange choice to my friends. said Sherwood. Speaking about what she has learned after joining, she said Being a girly girl and liking to have my nails done and wear make-up doesn't mean you can't be in the Air Force, I have no regrets. Sherwood was recently selected as the Wing's Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Christopher Parr)
