Employers impressed as they meet Air Force Reservists at the 932nd Airlift Wing
The 932nd Airlift Wing public affairs shop produced a detailed and packed Boss Day to show off the Illinois unit's people to civilian employers. It was held during the November Unit Training Assembly to show many wing activities including a medical trauma scenario that 932nd Medical Group members performed for civilian employers at Boss Day 2015. The commander, Col. Karl Goerke, welcomed the group bright and early that morning. In addition, they saw the Mission Support Group, Operations Group, Maintenance Group and 932nd MDS reservists who conducted a trauma demonstration which highlights the specialized training that Air Force Reserve medical personnel receive. The 932nd Airlift Wing was host to Saint Louis regional civilian employers this year on Scott Air Force Base, Ill. The 932nd AW is the only Air Force Reserve unit that flies the C-40C.
