Lending a helping hand

Tech. Sgt. Steven Thomas, medical technician with the 932nd Airlift Wing Aeromedical Staging Squadron (ASTS), helps move a litter filled with medical equipment into a box truck with assistance from two other ASTS members at Scott Air Force Base Ill., July 11, 2015. A team of about 10 ASTS members supported the removal of equipment and litters with simulated patients off of a C-130 aircraft after a training mission. When not helping to save lives, medical techs also support patient movements by learning proper litter carrying techniques.
