If the suit fits, wear it like a fire fighter
Lt. Col. Maureen “Mo” McAllen, Deputy Commander of the 932nd Mission Support Group at the 932nd Airlift Wing, is outfitted in a fire-fighting protective suit by several 932nd fire fighters during the Belle-Scott civic leader tour at the hangar. It didn't take too long for the suit to get a little warm due to the humid summer air. Besides working as a collective group to better Scott Air Force Base and support its personnel and their families, many of the civilian Belle-Scott Committee members also lend their support through their professional positions and through their community organization memberships (e.g. Rotary Club, Optimists, Zonta, etc.) This event highlighted how the Air Force Reserve Command (932nd) and Air National Guard (126th) work together as partners with the active duty throughout the base and community near Belleville, Illinois.
