Fire and water training prepares 932nd Airlift Wing's Civil Engineering Squadron for future challenges
Propane-fueled flames rise from a burnt aircraft simulator recently. The 932nd Airlift Wing Civil Engineering Squadron fire fighters, along with the wing commander, Col. Karl Goerke, drive a fire truck and spray water over the top of a live fire at the range on Scott Air Force Base. The unit went through several drill with the simulated aircraft fire to be prepared for the real thing if it ever occurs in the future. (U.S. Air Force photo/Maj. Stan Paregien)
