The fire fighting team of the 932nd Airlift Wing assembles

It was a long day on Sunday of the recent unit training assembly as the commander of the 932nd Airlift Wing, Col. Karl Goerke, sixth from left at center, took part in a full gear activity which involved specialized training event using fire and water elements to understand what could happen in real world aircraft situations. The Air Force Reserve Command fire fighters based at Scott Air Force Base worked a full day of drills carrying heavy hoses, moving tanker trucks, driving fire trucks and spraying fires with water.
