Winter weather returns in Illinois on March 1

The 932nd Airlift Wing commander's car sits in 8 plus inches of snow Sunday as the big winter front swept through Illinois overnight bringing ice and snow. Air Force Reserve Command members are reminded to check the weather line at Scott Air Force Base by calling 256-7232. (U.S. Air Force photo/Maj. Stan Paregien) As a note from last weekend: HOW INFORMATION WILL BE RELEASED In addition to AtHoc messages being sent as required, information about inclement weather base operating procedures will be released through: -- the Scott AFB public website -- www.scott.af.mil -- the Straight Talk Line at 256-SAFB (7232) -- the Scott AFB Facebook page (which has a direct link off of www.scott.af.mil) -- the MyMC2 mobile app -- base-wide emails (for early release only). The Team Scott community is highly encouraged to check these sources first and of course the local television stations. Be safe!
