Santa reminds all about Christmas Day and Friday closure along with weather hotline

Santa reminds you that the 932nd Airlift Wing offices are officially closed on Christmas Day, December 25 and Friday, December 26. Most of the wing will return on Monday, December 29. In the meantime, if you think the weather is getting bad, before leaving for the base please call the Scott Weather Hotline at 618-256-SAFB to see what the road and base conditions might be before heading out in snow or ice. Sometimes the base will close due to dangerous conditions, and sometimes it might have a delayed reporting of a couple of hours. Please use your own judgment depending on where you live and the roads you must travel; call your supervisor if you need to come in later. Be safe and watch out for motorcycles please!
