Checking the patients before flight
932nd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron supervisor Maj. Bruce Schlager, a trained 932nd AES Flight Nurse, checks the status of a "patient" as crewmembers look on. Schlager served for thirty-two years, twenty-two of which were enlisted, and ten as an officer. Schlager had this to say about his last flight with the unit before retirement: "I'm sad but happy, and ready to take the next step in life." (U.S. Air Force Photo/ Staff Sgt. Amber Hodges)
