Fresh air!
Even in cool outdoor temperatures, the heat generated inside a firefighter's suit and mask can be intense. One 932nd Airlift Wing firefighter raises his mask to get cool air during a recent drill. These "Citizen Airmen" constantly practice to stay ready and many work in Illinois and Missouri communities for civilian fire stations. Photo/Capt. Stan Paregien
