932nd Airlift Wing firefighters constantly practice to stay ready. Here, a firefighter listens to instructions over his radio. He also gets his fire retardant suit on as he prepares to enter simulated smoke during a recent drill; this is designed to teach firefighters to understand how their field of vision and awareness of surroundings is affected by thick smoke.
