Yellow Ribbon event successful
Commander of the 932nd Airlift Wing, Col. William Edwards, Jr., and his wife Faith, welcomed recent deployers and their family guests to a Yellow Ribbon weekend activity. This was the second major wing event held to welcome back deployers and encourage families to be involved in a variety of fun programs, including a trip to Six Flags. One provision of the Department of Defense program requires National Guard and Reserve components to hold reintegration activities at 30-, 60- and 90-day intervals after demobilization, or the end of a deployment for all members who were mobilized or deployed for 90 days or more.
