24 Hour Vigil honors veterans
Staff Sgt. Timothy Bolger (left) and Master Sgt. Tony Rogers, run laps in full combat gear at the first 24-hour Veterans Day Vigil held here Nov. 5-6. The event began Nov. 5 and drew some 350 participants during the Vigil. Some walked and others jogged around the base track while the U.S. Flag and the POW/MIA flags were carried throughout the entire 24-hour event, The Vigil was organized by the Air Force Sergeants Association and featured active duty, reservists and their family members.
