Wing NCO wins civilian award

Tech. Sgt. Ashley Shaffer, was named the Civilian Employee of the Year for 2010, (Category I) at Scott Air Force Base, Il recently. Sergeant Shaffer entered the annual base-wide competition, after she had won at the wing level. Sergeant Shaffer is an Air Reserve Technician (ART), and represented the 932nd Airlift Wing. ARTs are full-time civilian employees who are required to serve as members of the Air Force Reserve one weekend a month and at least 14 days a year of annual training. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech.
