Celebrating America's birthday
A U.S. Air Force Reserve Command C-40C aircraft of the 932nd Airlift Wing is captured at Madison, Wisconsin on the transient ramp of the 115th Fighter Wing, Wisconsin Air National Guard. Two miles distant is Rhythm & Booms 2011, the largest fireworks display in the Midwest. Rhythm and Booms is a day-long celebration of American independence and patriotism. The July 2 event drew over 230,000 spectators, and included an F-16 formation flyover at dusk, Wisconsin Army National Guard demos, and day and nighttime jumps by the U.S. Army's Golden Knights parachute team.
