Firefighters take the heat
A firefighter from the 932nd Civil Engineering Squadron, responds to a simulated fire inside the C-9C cabin. Air Force Reserve firefighters used two P-23 crash trucks and a rescue team to put out the aircraft "fire." Firefighters entered the aircraft in full gear and performed checks of the galley, cabin and flight deck. The 932nd Airlift Wing is the only Air Force Reserve unit that flies the C-9C. The 932nd AW is based at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Chris Parr)
