Waving goodbye to the VC-9
Flight attendants wave goodbye to the remaining two VC-9 aircraft which were officially retired from the Air Force Reserve inventory on Sept 11, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. The VC-9s have been part of the 932nd Airlift Wing since 2005. They have safely flown vice-presidents, the first lady and other senior leaders and dignitaries since the mid-1970s.
