Commander visits explosive ordnance shop to experience suiting up
Col. Albert Lupenski, 932nd Airlift Wing commander, went out to meet the explosive ordnance disposal troops in his Air Force Reserve Command wing and learn what they do during a Unit Training Assembly in Illinois. He put on the heavy-duty EOD suit to see how warm it gets during operations. (Pictured next to him are members of EOD who attend a a 10 month long EOD technical school. EOD specialists are used overseas by the military to make the way safe for them and civilians, and they are occasionally called out to assist local authorities. The 932nd Airlift Wing is part of Fourth Air Force, Air Force Reserve Command. (Photo sumbitted by Lt. Col. Lori Walden)
