No slowing down this Airman
Senior Airman Paul Hirner, 932nd Aeromedical Staging Squadron, called his first deployment to Germany a "tremendous training experience." Hirner said he was part of litter teams that carried patients on and off various cargo aircraft on the flightline at Ramstein Air Base. While at Ramstein, he was assigned to the 86th Contingency Aeromedical Staging Facility. Although Hirner suffered a sports injury that occurred during his deployment, he isn't slowing down. Hirner is currently working extra duty days in the ASTS orderly room while he gets around on crutches. The 932nd ASTS, part of the 932nd Airlift Wing, is an Air Force Reserve unit located at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Dan Oliver)
