932nd PA:  Why the Air Force Reserve?

KB: I knew nothing about the Reserves. In fact I didn’t even know that component of the Air Force existed. It wasn’t until my former recruiter had got in touch with me and educated me about the benefits and opportunities that came with being a member of the Air Force Reserve. After hearing the education and health benefits as well as the chance to travel, I knew I wanted to be a part of that.

932nd PA:  What is one of your fondest memories since joining the 932nd AW?

KB:  One of my fondest memories since joining the 932nd AW was when I was promoted to Airman Basic to Airman and being punched by my leadership.

932nd PA:  What is your full job title and short description of your duties?

KB:  My job title is Customer Support Technician. With this job it isn’t just making ID cards. I council members on their eligibility for being a cardholder as well as for their dependents. I inform members of their Tricare eligibility. With every new member joining our unit, I place them in the Newcomers program.

932nd PA:  What would you like to do or see in the next few years within your career or with the AF Reserve?

KB:  I would like to see myself commission. I am going to school to major in nursing and minor in business. I would also like to cross train into another career field and try as many jobs I can during my time in service.

932nd PA:  Thank you Airman Baskerville for sharing your Air Force story.
