Colonel Karl Goerke takes command of the 932nd Airlift Wing
Col. Karl Goerke takes command of the 932nd Airlift Wing from Brig. Gen. John Flournoy, Commander of the Fourth Air Force. Prior to taking his new role, Colonel Goerke was commander of the 932nd Operations Group. The 932nd Airlift Wing, an Air Force Reserve flying unit is located at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. The 932nd AW is an Air Force Reserve Command unit that flies the C-40C. The assumption of command took place on Sept 14, 2014, inside Hangar One, Scott Air Force Base.
