Lt. Col. Amy Morgan assumes command of the 932nd Force Support Squadron

Lt. Col. Amy Morgan assumed command of the 932nd Force Support Squadron during an assumption of command ceremony at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, Feb. 2, 2025. 

Morgan has been part of the 932nd Airlift Wing for many years, serving in various roles and units, to include the 932nd Operations Group, the 932nd Inspector General Complaints Division military chief while simultaneously working as the civilian 932nd AW executive officer, and she most recently served as the 932nd Mission Support Group deputy commander. 

Col. Dori Mansur, 932nd Mission Support Group commander, presided over the ceremony, spoke about Morgan's ability to take care of her troops, “Anyone that knows Amy Morgan knows she has the biggest heart, she's a caretaker by nature, she will never fail you in that.” 

Morgan went on to highlight her excitement about her new role saying, “One of my leadership philosophies as I take on this responsibility is to put people first….and so my commitment to you is to do what I can do to put people first, to keep you ready, and keep you as sharp as you possibly can.” 

The 932nd Airlift Wing equips, trains and organizes a ready force of Citizen Airmen to support and maintain the needs of the Air Force Reserve.
